Yes…I had to do it…with all that was wonderful and history making about today’s events….I just couldn’t help but think about what kind of shoes I would of worn with Michelle Obama’s outfit…lol
But seriously, I am so happy to say that I have lived through this historic moment and I will be able to tell my children and my children’s children that I witnessed the first (half) black man being elected President of the United States. But for me, it is really about race as much as it is about being so happy that Bush is finally out of office. You cannot imagine the joy that fills my heart knowing that he is no longer sitting in the Oval Office plotting our destruction…but alas I am not going to go on a political rant so I will end by saying that I did really love Michelle’s shoes.
