I read a couple of the entries and  have to say there is nothing wrong for having a love of chocolate or baking so I will definately have to keep reading this one I can also appreciate one of the comments about missing a full sized suburban kitchen…i can barely fit a small cookie sheet in my half of an oven *le sigh*

I was initially watching the live stream on MSNBC (which was pretty darn clear and didn’t freeze or anything) and then I hopped onto the CNN + Facebook feed at about 11:30…and couldn’t turn it off. On top of the momentous occasion that was going on, I could not stop laughing at the many status/comments that were going on from other people. It was really quite hilarious and pretty well executed.

The only drawbacks that I saw were that after everything was over and I go back to my regular Facebook profile…I have about 28382 new status changes on my page and notifications for all of the comments I got. Which was a little ugly but a small price to pay. I also received a couple of friend requests from people who saw my comments and thought I was funny lol which was pretty cool and unexpected

All in all I think that while the CNN + Facebook marriage was a bit weird at first…it definately proved it’s point about how technology can be used

But seriously, I am so happy to say that I have lived through this historic moment and I will be able to tell my children and my children’s children that I witnessed the first (half) black man being elected President of the United States. But for me, it is really about race as much as it is about being so happy that Bush is finally out of office. You cannot imagine the joy that fills my heart knowing that he is no longer sitting in the Oval Office plotting our destruction…but alas I am not going to go on a political rant so I will end by saying that I did really love Michelle’s shoes.

I don’t mind the song so I watch it at regular volume but it’s just as effective on mute

This whole thing makes me want to watch “Their Eyes Were Watching God” again…especially this scene:

This is pretty much your typical reverse-harem anime as far as i can tell (but I am only 4 episodes in) but wowww at the hotness of the characters

 Not to mention i have to admit that i LOVE the loli-goth outfit the lead character is wearing…plus it’s in my favorite color PURPLE

But come on how many bishies can you squeeze in one anime!?

Twilight the Movie

let me tell  you one thing about me….i ADORE vampires…and i ADORE romances…so why i was trying to stay away from this absolutely adorable vampire romance is beyond me. and yes it is a bit of a teeny bopper novel but it calls to the young high schooler in me that always had a crush on the guy and i could just see the whole thing playing out. and i have to also admit that the casting for the movie was not too shabby. it could of been alot worse (a la Ashley Wilkes in Gone With the Wind) . I keep trying to find a good version of the movie to watch online…im gonna have to buy the DVD as soon as it comes out

So far I am waiting to go and buy Book 3 (Eclipse). Book 1 (Twilight) was my favorite…Book 2 (New Moon) just didn’t really cut it for me tho it was cute. And I am definately an Edward fan…Jacob is cute but come on who doesn’t love a good Vampire? All in all I haven’t been this excited about a series since Harry Potter and I think that was the point…
